David was excited to make his Joe's Pub debut in "Where We Are", a song cycle featuring the brilliant songs of Rachel Covey. Each song in WHERE WE ARE was inspired by a map collected by the Hand Drawn Map Association. Full of humor, heartbreak, and humanity, the song cycle spans the physical and emotional terrain of characters caught between Point A and Point B. David made his 54 Below debut in "One Wrong Turn-The Music of Rachel Covey." Rachel is an incredibly talented songwriter. Her music has been described as “hilarious, striking, and devastatingly human.” It was a night of heart, neuroses, and connections found in unexpected places. They were all supported beautifully on piano by Music Director, Jeremy Jacobs.
