Soundtrack!
David recorded back round vocals for several songs on the soundtrack, including 30/90, Sunday and Swimming. He also sang on Sextet (from the Superbia reading) which is not on the soundtrack but is in the film. The film is on Netflix and is the directorial debut of Lin-Manuel Miranda.
David will be playing "Store Manager" in Pioneer Theatre Company's upcoming production of "Elf - The Musical"!
David recorded backing vocals for two tracks on the soundtrack of "Dear Evan Hansen", the film adaptation of the Tony-winning Broadway musical, starring Ben Platt, Julianne Moore and Amy Adams. As one of 18 singers in the "Dear Evan Hansen Choir", David was thrilled to sing on such beautiful vocal arrangements and songs.
David will be appearing in the Season 5 finale episode of "The Good Fight", starring Audra McDonald and Christine Baranski. As a die hard fan of "The Good Fight" and "The Good Wife", David was excited to be a part of the show!
David sang in the ensemble of several songs on the soundtrack of “Vivo”, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s new heartwarming animated musical film produced by Sony Pictures Animation. Lin and Alex Lacamoire wrote the beautiful score and it will feature the voices of Lin, Gloria Estefan, Zoe Saldana and others! It will be on Netflix at a future date!
David contributed vocals to the soundtrack of the new musical blockbuster film, "In The Heights". He also appears in the finale scene of the film with some of his cast mates from the 1st National Tour of "In The Heights". The film and soundtrack will be released
June 11, 2021.

Playing all the instruments (midi) and singing all vocals, David has created a brand new arrangement of "Still In Love", a song originally recorded by Limahl. David recorded and mixed the song himself. The video was shot and edited by him as well. Click to see!

David was at Vassar College doing a workshop of a new musical adaptation of Laura Esquivel's novel, Like Water For Chocolate. It was directed by Michael Mayer with music by Grammy Award-winning La Santa Cecilia and book by Lisa Loomer.

David was cast in the ensemble of In The Heights in the Kennedy Center's inaugural season of Broadway Center Stage, which interprets Broadway musicals in "semi-staged concert format" with established theater talent. Starring Anthony Ramos, Vanessa Hudgens, Ana Villafañe and Eden Espinosa, it ran March 21-25, 2018 in the Eisenhower Theater at the Kennedy center in Washington, DC.

David's cabaret show, Unexpected Surprise, was nominated for a 2017 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award for Best Debut Show!
David was cast in the First National Tour of the Broadway musical ON YOUR FEET! The Miami Herald declared the show, "“...two and a half hours of sheer joy” and “...all the more powerful in the current political climate.” Update: david's last performance on the tour was March 2, 2018.
David was a member of the original Broadway cast of the smash hit musical On Your Feet, playing Big Paquito, Antonio, Old Man and Latin DJ. The Tony-nominated musical played at the Marquis Theatre from October 5, 2015 to August 20, 2017 for 34 previews and 746 performances on Broadway. It portrayed the lives of music powerhouses Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
